Our visit to England was a small trip through British mailing history. We started the trip in Cowes with Tim Parsons and Dan Barratt, part of our distributor team of Technical Marine Supplies in Cowes, visiting the ancient chandlery Pascall Atkey founded in 1799. After several meetings in Cowes we moved to Southampton to visit the base of Ben Ainslie Racing, the greatest exponent of current British high technology.
Once recovered of so big contrast, we met the always elegant Hugo Boss’ Alex Thomson team, and then visit to Marine Superstore.
The following days we were in Plymouth. Yes, on the pontoons of The Transat.
Banque Populaire VII, PRB, Solidàries in Peloton, Gitana XV, Sodebo, Rennes Saint Malo, Vandb, Black Pepper, SMA and Nivea included DrSails adhesives and repair kits in their first-aid kit. During an extra short break we view the also centenarians Plymouth Gin facilities, and of course we gret the legend Loïck Peyron.
Good luck to them and to all the rest of The Transat fleet.
